Playmaking Techniques 

Play-making techniques are used to extract and explore the dramatic potential of stimulus material

and to develop ideas, roles, dramatic action, story and themes to construct a devised performance.

There are many play-making techniques; however, for the purposes of this study they are:

• Researching

• Brainstorming

• Improvising

• Scripting

• Editing

• Rehearsing

• Refining
